The Bank of Vernal was constructed in 1913 after a brick company wrapped 13,700 bricks (a total of 35 tons), and individually mailed them via the U.S. Post Office to Vernal. This created such an uproar that the postal service changed its weight limits, but not before the Bank of Vernal became the first and only building to arrive by post.
